The Seven Pieces Of Advice that Polunius Gives Laertes

Don’t say what you’re thinking, and don’t be too quick to act on what you think.

Be friendly to people but don’t overdo it. Once you’ve tested out your friends and found them trustworthy, hold onto them.

But don’t waste your time shaking hands with every new guy you meet.

Don’t be quick to pick a fight, but once you’re in one, hold your own.

Listen to many people, but talk to few.

Hear everyone’s opinion, but reserve your judgment.

Spend all you can afford on clothes, but make sure they’re quality, not flashy, since clothes make the man—which is doubly true in France.

Shakespeare's Hamlet Act 1 Scene's 1~2 CLAUDIUS Diary

Why is Hamlet still mourning over his father's death? He needs to get past it already. I hope he doesn't leave for Wittenburg.

Comic Satire Example

Comic - Anger Control Course

This Comic satirizes that can only be controlled by committing a malicious act. It uses reversal to reveal say that he controlled his anger by doing something angry. I really don't like this comic but it does display the satire well.

Satire TV Show Example

TV Show - Youtube, Mad TV - July 10th, 2008

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0sZ0OJGm6Ak&safety_mode=true&persist_safety_mode=1

This Clip satirizes the TV show Surviver. It uses a parody on how they group the teams together and they do it by race on this clip. I found this parody displayed well because the stereotypes were displayed very well.

Comic Satire Example

Comic Satire Example - Innovation department.

This comic satirizes that words hurt. It uses exaggeration to show that words create a huge effect on people and hurts them greatly. I think this was an interesting comic because it's like a bully picking on a kid and the fist symbolizes that verbal abuse.
